Our Award-winning programme brings a holistic framework to Employee Health and Wellbeing across physical, mental, and social aspects of our team’s health.

Programmes have included free lunchtime yoga classes(currently virtual), GR4FT, a bespoke virtual gym programme designed specifically for NI Water employees, Healthy heart awareness & nutrition seminars. We have had Mindfulness and Great sleep seminars and motivational speakers. NI Water have also had Financial wellbeing seminars so we have a holistic approach to wellbeing!

We work with our health & wellbeing partners to provide our Wellbeing Roadshows so all employees have the opprotunity to meet with medical & wellbeing professionals. We have an established Employee Assistance Programme and a dedicated Employee Support Officer to provide counselling and advice on a variety of matters.

We can’t forget how important it is to have the social side of work and we have an extensive hobby buddy network, an NIW Choir, a cycling club & book club to name but a few!  Competitions & quizes are held regulalrly so we all have a chance to meet up throughout the year.

As an employee you can become a Health & Wellbeing champion or a Mental Health First Aider. This gives you an opportunity not only to participate in events but to help shape the wellbeing programme and work with your colleagues across the organisation.
